Carroll County Foundation helps improve junior fair facilities

The Carroll County Jr. Fair Facilities Improvement Committee (FIC) was formed in September 2008 to raise funds to improve the facilities used by junior fair exhibitors.

Ventilation was needed for the small animal barn at the Carroll County Fair junior facilities to improve air quality and living quarters for the animals. Board siding was removed and a breathable sun curtain was installed. The sun curtain will be rolled up during the fair to allow maximum air flow and can be rolled down to keep the rain/sun out. The sun curtain was funded by a $2,500 grant from The Carroll County Foundation.
